Earth Hour, the world largest collective environmental action, will take place around the world on 25 March at 8:30pm local time.
The powerful action of turning our lights off for one hour is just the start: the spirit of Earth Hour extends throughout the year – the changes we make in our daily lives will help us create a better tomorrow. This year, we are focusing on combatting climate change for a sustainable future. The theme of Earth Hour 2017 is “For a Solar Powered City”, and we hope to increase public awareness about our planet’s incredible renewable energy resources.
2016 has officially been declared to be the hottest year ever. If there was ever a time for urgent action on climate change, it is NOW!
So what can we do to save our planet?
Adopt a low-carbon lifestyle! This begins with switching off our lights. Sign up now to show your support for our planet at http://earthhour.hk/
